Young Apostles
Young Apostles is a youth group established for all parish 7th and 8th grade students to enhance their catholic faith. It is directed by adults and guided by high school students in a way that allows them to further develop their relationship with Christ and understand how important that relationship is as a teenager. YA meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 6:30-8:00PM unless otherwise noted. All events are in the SMC Commons, unless otherwise posted.
ª This is the 3rd year for YA. We average 50-55 junior high students attending and around 15 high school students monthly.
ª Monthly themes include—Commitment, Saints, Bible, Gratitude, Respect, Praise and Worship.
ª We culminate in March with a mother/son, father/daughter Butterfly Banquet---really fun!
ª In April all the junior high students are invited to attend the high school activities and see what to look forward to in high school.
ª We do not meet in May due to athletic banquet and graduations---all on Wednesdays.
